The association goal is to provide at least 10 hours of continuing education each year.  The dental hygiene requirement for the Commonwealth of Virginia is 15 hours each year.

A Virginia Dental Law Exam is now available for three hours of continuing education credit. The exam allows applicants and licensees to test their knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene.
